The Balanced Life Concept

One of the key elements of the DTI philosophy is the Balanced Life Concept. At the center of this concept is the belief that it is appropriate to use one's work life and experiences to achieve personal and family goals.

Work: What do we have to do here to have a balanced life?
Personal (Recreation): What am I doing for me? Family: What am I doing for my family?

We encourage our employees and those we train to ask themselves two questions:

Why do I work?
What would I do if I were financially free?

The answers to these questions can help you discover what is meaningful to you about your work and how your work can help you achieve a variety of personal and family goals. The next step will be to complete the Target Planning process to set short, medium and long range goals for your life.
